Revelstoke RCMP request public help identifying graffiti suspect

The Revelstoke RCMP is searching for a person of interest who could be tied to multiple vandalism incidents.

Police said over the past few weeks, an unknown ‘culprit’ has been committing many acts of mischief throughout Revelstoke on both public and private properties.

There have been multiple reports to police about properties vandalized with “non-typical” graffiti messaging, which have been costing the City and local businesses money to repair, as well as being a “nuisance for local residents”.

The RCMP is continuing to investigate these incidents and is looking for public assistance to help identify a person of interest. Police said screen shots were taken that depict a white man wearing distinctive clothing, shoes, mask, headlamp and toque.

If anyone has information or can identify this person of interest, please call Revelstoke RCMP.
