Natural Selection 2026 returns to Revelstoke

Calling all snowboarding fanatics, the YETI Natural Selection Tour is coming back in 2026 in Revelstoke with some updates to the venue.

The two-day backcountry-based freestyling snowboarding competition has a new twist on how competitors can reach the main stage and being crowned Tour champions.

The Tour’s old DUELS matchups will be replaced with a new first stage format that will be announced in the fall. There will be new pathways for athletes to join the Tour. This will offer broader global access and better storytelling for both fans and athletes.

“Last year, with a bit more venue refinement and an expansion, we started to unlock the full potential of the Selector Venue at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Now that riders have been able to wrap their heads around this megalithic venue, this winter, we expect the unexpected,” said Travis Rice, pro snowboarder and co-founder of the Natural Selection Tour.

The crew will also be led by Dustin Craven, a pro snowboarder and Revelstoke local.

24 athletes will compete in the city. The global competition will take place on March 10 to March 16 in 2026, with one man and one woman being crowned on Red Bull TV.

“We are proud to be supported by the local Revelstoke community, and with the expertise of the RMR operations and safety teams,” continued Rice in the release. “This Supernatural stadium, with live viewing on the mountain and at home, is unlike anything else I have ever been a part of. It will be an incredible week to be in our home North of the border!”

This event will be held at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, with support from Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, B.C.’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, and Tourism Revelstoke.
