The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) released its Team of the Week, and Revelstoke Grizzlies’ Austin Seibel is on the list.
The Grizzlies’ goalie has had an outstanding performance, which led him to make the team.
KIJHL said Seibel won both his games this week, beginning with a 34-save performance against the Creston Valley Thunder Cats in a 4-1 win.
Seibel earned his first shutout, a game where the opposing team doesn’t score any points, with a 34-save performance against the Fernie Ghostriders on Oct. 25.
He made 16 saves in the third period. He’s had a .986 save percentage.
