Revelstoke Santa Claus Parade accepting float registrations

For those who can’t wait to start thinking about Christmas, today is the day, at least for Revelstoke locals who are interested in registering for the Santa Claus Parade.

The event takes place Dec. 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. These two hours will be packed with pictures with Santa, free hot chocolate and food trucks. The parade will makes its way from Revelstoke Courthouse, down 1st Street and along Mackenzie Avenue, finishing at the corner of Mackenzie Avenue and Ninth Street.

The Revelstoke Mayor, Gary Sulz said he’s excited to bring back this event. “As Mayor, I am happy that we are reinvigorating an age-old tradition of the Santa Claus parade this year. Please get involved and join us in the parade.”

Revelstoke Santa Claus Parade Schedule:

3:30 p.m. – Judging of Parade Floats: All registered floats to assemble at the Revelstoke Courthouse for judging and marshalling.
4 p.m. – Parade begins: Cheer on the parade as it makes its way from Revelstoke Courthouse, down 1st Street and along Mackenzie Avenue, finishing at the corner of Mackenzie and Ninth.
4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Festivities at Grizzly Plaza: Join for a community celebration at Grizzly Plaza, featuring free hot chocolate provided by CUPE363, food trucks and more!
4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. – Pictures with Santa: Find Santa under the gazebo for festive fun and a free pic that sleighs! Snap a smile, share a wish, and make a merry memory!

To register for the parade, fill out their form and submit it to [email protected]. Deadline to submit the form is Dec. 8
