Highway 1 between Revelstoke and Golden open for now

DriveBC has provided an update on Highway 1 between Revelstoke and Golden, saying the road is currently open, though unplanned closures are likely.

Avalanche control work is taking place, as DriveBC said there is a high avalanche risk.

Travellers are recommended to plan an alternate route.

They said an update can be expected as soon as possible. For current updates, visit DriveBC Map.
