The Town of Golden is executing a 20-year infrastructure access agreement with Columbia Basin

CBT originally approached Golden in 2009 with a concept to build a fibre optic network in downtown Golden and it was completed in 2010.
The Trust is installing a new point of presence in their Golden office.
It will provide new fibre optic services to residents and businesses in Area A.
CBT will pay a one-time rental fee and undertake the work, including the cost to replace a broken service vault located in Spirit Square.
The total cost is estimated to be between $6,000 to $10,000.
