Military training planned near Chatter Creek

Residents and recreationists near Chatter Creek are advised that members of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command will conduct military training in the area from June 8 to July 15, 2026.

People in the vicinity of Chatter Creek may see and hear uniformed and non-uniformed military personnel, as well as civilian support aircraft during the exercise.

The Canadian Armed Forces said the training provides Canadian Special Operations Forces Command personnel with experience operating in unfamiliar environments and helps prepare them for future missions.

Training will also take place near Bow Valley Provincial Park in Alberta.
