The Revelstoke Grizzlies hockey team is holding the third spot on the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) Power Rankings for Week 12, and one of their players is highlighted in the league’s Team of the Week.

The Grizzlies pocketed a pair of wins, starting with a 5-4 victory over the Sicamous Eagles. Connor Shymoniak scored the winner, and goalie Austin Seibel made 24 saves.

The team then hit the road for Osoyoos and defeated the Osoyoos Coyotes 6-3. Jett Patola scored the winner, and goalie William Stewart had an excellent night, making 40 saves.

The Grizzlies are now 17-4-0-2 and are fourth overall in the KIJHL.

The Kamloops Storm are sitting at the top spot for a second straight week. The Beaver Valley Nitehawks are ranked number 2. The Kelowna Chiefs are holding the fourth spot, and the Fernie Ghostriders make the Power Rankings for the first time this season in 5th.

Grizzlies forward Jake Neufeld had a big weekend for the team with four goals and three assists in two games, leading to winning both their games. He played an average of just over 17 minutes per game. Neufeld also scored a hat-trick and added an assist in their 6-3 win against the Osoyoos Coyotes.
